Alyssa Reece

The person behind the name

Vancouver is where Alyssa Reece began filming shortly after turning eighteen. Her work subsequently took her through Canadian and international productions, while her screen career also developed within Vancouver’s independent film and theatre community.

Her professional interests extend across acting and production. Alongside studio work and magazine appearances, she has built a practice of producing her own material. A return announced in 2025 brought that independent work and live broadcasting back into focus.

Inside After Eden

A beginning in Vancouver

Reece’s first filming experience came in Vancouver shortly after her eighteenth birthday. Before entering adult entertainment, she had worked in fashion and swimwear modelling. Her later publicity biography recalls an advertisement in an alternative magazine as the opportunity that introduced her to filming.

That early modelling experience preceded a career involving both photographic assignments and moving images. Vancouver remained an important part of the story: it was also the setting for her involvement in independent theatre and short films, and for the production of her first leading feature-film role.

Working across borders

Her career expanded beyond its Canadian beginnings. Her professional biography describes work in Canada and Paris before Los Angeles, followed by assignments with a wide range of European and American production companies. She has also spoken on her own website about filming in different parts of the world.

Among the companies associated with her professional credits are Penthouse, Hustler and Vivid Entertainment, names also included in the official cast biography for After Eden. Her experience therefore includes work within established studio productions as well as the smaller independent-film environment in Vancouver.

An independent production practice

Reece describes producing her own content as a way to keep her work personal. Creating and publishing material independently gives her a production role alongside performing; her own website identifies self-produced work as the main focus of this part of her career.

In August 2025, a professional announcement described her return to content production and live broadcasting. She expressed enthusiasm about making material and reconnecting with her audience. This chapter continues her interest in taking responsibility for her work, alongside the studio assignments that formed much of her earlier experience.

Magazine work

Photography has remained part of Reece’s professional career. Her publicity biography lists appearances in magazines including Penthouse, Hustler and Club, and identifies her as a Hustler Honey in 2013. Those assignments sit alongside her work for film and online productions.

A further magazine appearance followed in 2025, when John Blaylock included her in a Hustler feature. In comments accompanying that announcement, she recalled the earlier 2013 recognition. The two appearances mark separate points in her magazine work, more than a decade apart.

A place in narrative cinema

Reece took the leading role of Eve in After Eden, a Canadian feature made by writer and director Hans Christian Berger. The production’s cast biography identifies it as her first leading part in a feature and places her within Vancouver’s independent film and theatre scene.

The film premiered in the New Directors competition at San Sebastián in September 2015. Reece was credited under her established professional name; the cast page also identifies her as Tanya Pankov. Eve is a fictional character, and the film’s events belong to that dramatic story.

Portraits

Away from filming

Her professional biography names learning languages, travelling, reading and writing among her interests away from production. Acting remains on that list too, linking her personal interests with the work she has pursued on screen and in Vancouver’s independent arts community.

Exercise and home life have their place as well: she lists workouts and Pilates alongside cooking and baking. These are the activities she has chosen to share publicly, offering a few concrete details about life beyond filming without reducing her biography to screen credits alone.
